Dear readers, I have been sharing quite a fair bit on Reits and Trusts in SG Stocks Investing recently. Sharing on how some of the Reits and Trusts have been raising funds to acquire assets in a bid to increase their assets under management. And how the aforementioned may have diluted investors’ interest. Also, I have been sharing how investors looking at investing in Reits and Trusts for the longer term should recognise that these equities are still equities after all and are subject to geopolitical forces. Just recall the Mapletree shopping mall in Hong Kong episode.
Today, I would like to share with you another thought of mine. And that is, in my opinion, I feel that the many Reits and Trusts will be undergoing consolidation in times to come for better efficiencies. These consolidation may include merger or delisting.
