Dear readers, just few days ago, I shared that the stocks markets will experience a greater correction. In fact, in the beginning of May 2021, I have given investors a heads-up. Today, the Singapore Straits Times Index sank as Singapore further tightened its Covid-19 measures! Let us see just how much the Straits Times Index stocks fell in a noteworthy trading day today!
We start off with the best Straits Times Index stocks performers and end off with the worst performer! The list is below.

The two Straits Times Index stocks that actually rose today are Keppel DC Reit and SGX stock, inching up by 0.8% and 0.5% respectively.
It is interesting to note that DBS stock inched down by 0.7% today as compared with southing of 2.6% and 2.8% respectively for OCBC stock and UOB stock respectively. Can we say DBS stock is a more resilient banking stock that its two other peers?
As expected, SIA stock performed as one of the worst stocks today, down by 5.7%, precisely because this stock is becoming more and more like a Covid-19 play?
