Dear readers, let us take a look for the Straits Times Index (STI) stocks that were winners and losers for the trading week ended 21 May 2021. As a recap, the Straits Times Index (STI) closed at 3,177.89 for the week, up about 4% from the previous week.
The top ten STI stocks with the largest weekly gain are as follows:
SIA stock: +6%
Mapletree Industrial Trust: +4.89%
Singtel stock: +4.74%
Sembcorp Industries stock : +4.71%
Thai Beverages stock: +4.48%
Frasers Logistics and Commercial Trust: +3.60%
Mapletree Commercial Trust: +3.54%
ComfortDelgro stock: +3.16%
Mapletree Logistics Trust: +3.16%
Capitaland Integrated Commercial Trust: +3.02%
It seems that SIA stock did some catchup since the week before where it was one of the worst performing STI stocks to be the best performing STI stock for the week.
For last week, there were only two STI stocks which declined for the week:
JMH USD stock: -0.09%
Hongkong Land: -0.21%
