Dear readers, DBS is offering Fixed Deposit at 1.1% per annum return. For a maximum deposit amount of $19,999, enjoy 1.1% per annum return for a holding period of 11 months.
I understand that while there are higher fixed deposit returns offered by DBS e.g. 1.3%; these are for holding periods longer than 11 months and are no longer offered by DBS.
On the back of low interest rates, investors are flocking to the stocks markets but stocks markets these days are indeed volatile and investors lose risking their capital.
So in the interim, there will be investors who are parking their monies in safe haven like the fixed deposits, enjoy some decent little interests before waiting for the next stocks markets corrections to buy stocks at discounted prices!
