Dear readers, today, SIA stock declined by 4.67% to $7.15 per share after it has been reported that Temasek is selling around $400 million worth of shares in SIA.
Year-to-date, SIA stock has increased by 30.24% and we have read on 28 Jun 23 that SIA CEO’s annual pay has risen 88% to $6.73 million.
Like Warren Buffett, I am not enamoured of airlines stocks. This is because in not-so-good economic conditions, air travel demand is low.
In good economic conditions, oil prices are high which increase cost to airlines stocks.
This is why all the while, I do not invest in SIA stock despite the stock currently doing very well for its investors.
