Dear readers, in the video above, PhillipCapital recommends one group of stocks: the SGX listed US Reits for their superior yields (>6%) and currency. Especially when the USD looks strong especially against SGD.
In my personal view, I would think that US Reits by the virtue of them being far away from Singapore may not be easily understood by SG investors as compared to their local counterparts. It is not easy for Singapore investors to appreciate the structure of these US Reits as well as the macro environment these Reits reside. If there is any stock listed in US stock that will attract me, it has better to be those potential multi-bagging stocks with the world as their stage and with products the world loves.
