Dear readers, there is one Singapore stock which is currently Oversold. This stock is a stock which is still cited by some Singapore investors as a potential multi-bagger stock for the reason that it boasts of a product which is highly innovative and could redefine the industry. Yes, this stock is none other than Creative Technology stock.
To recall, former sleepy Creative Technology stock rose from just around $1.25 per share to an intra-day high of $10 per share from February to March 2018 as investors became excited about the Super X-Fi headphone holography technology from Creative Technology that could redefine headphone technology. Thereafter, Creative Technology stock traded at over $5 for some time before heading lower to the $2.80 range in Sep 2019. On 25 Oct 2019, Creative Technology stock rallied by 19% to $3.38 per share before again going south to close at $3.08 on 15 Nov 2019. With the latest closing price, Creative Technology stock is Oversold.
Based on its historical stock chart, Creative Technology stock is a rather volatile stock. I am not sure how many investors are of the view that Creative Technology stock will make a comeback in the sound industry with its latest audio technology and invest in the stock (never mind the volatilities in this stock) but aimed at the longer-term goal of having Creative Technology stock price multiplying in tandem?
For myself, I subscribe to the philosophy that when it comes to investing our monies, there should be no question of “whether or not” a company will make it big in future. Rather, I am more focused on whether the company whose stock I am interested in is already serving an existing big market with still lots of untapped potential. Hence, I like stocks whose products already have such a good competitive advantage or scale with the potential to grow it even more. It is hence no surprise that some of my holdings are in the biggest China’s technology listed companies.
