Dear readers, I have been extremely busy these past few days spring cleaning my house. This is on top of an overwhelming work load at office. Chinese New Year comes once a year and it is the only time that I carried out a thorough spring cleaning of my house. I adhere to this practice annually and it is not just about following tradition, it feels good and healthy to have a cleaner house from spring cleaning. I always find a sense of satisfaction on looking at the large amounts of dust that I have cleared out from my house!
During spring cleaning this afternoon, there was a surprise as I cleaned my shoe cabinet. As I was cleaning my office shoes, for a while, I did not recognise that this pair of office shoes which I have wore for some years to office everyday were actually mine! I was shocked and surprised to have experienced this feeling. But after some time, I realized that it should not really been a surprise since I have not really hardly wore this shoes to office for close to a year now ever since the default work-from-home arrangements arising from Covid-19!
Yes, this Chinese New Year, we are almost one-year into a new normal for the world!
