Dear readers, at One Fight Night 21: Eersel vs. Nicolas held in Lumpinee Boxing Stadium, Bangkok on 6 April 2024 Singapore Time, there were quite a number of fights which I personally loved, but one which stood out for me was the Heavyweight MMA fight between Ben Tynan vs Duke Didier.
Having watched Ben “Vanilla Thunder” Tynan,fought and won over Kang Ji Won very impressively via a submission in One Fight Night 16: Haggerty vs. Andrade, I was already looking forward to his fight with Duke Didier. Ben Tynan did not disappoint as he again repeated an impressive technical knockout over Didier.
During his victory speech, Ben Tynan called out ONE Heavyweight MMA World Champion Anatoly “Sladkiy” Malykhin and said that he would be looking forward to a fight with him. Anatoly “Sladkiy” Malykhin is One Championship’s Middleweight MMA & Light Heavyweight MMA & Heavyweight MMA world champion.
It will be indeed very interesting and exciting to have Ben Tynan meet Anatoly Malykhin in Ben’s next fight. But considering that Ben has had not chalked up a number of fights in One Championship yet, I believe Ben may be given at least two other opponents first before a shot at either the Heavyweight or Middleweight title from Anatoly Malykhin.
These opponents could include any of the past opponents whom Anatoly Malykhin had won over. Amongst these, I would like to see a fight between Ben Tynan with Amir Aliakbari and Reinier de Ridder.
