Dear readers, in a previous post, I have shared with readers that I have started using my NS Credits on LifeSG app.
I found the app user-friendly and much easier to use than the CDC e-vouchers.
There are two things that I have learnt.
First, not all QR codes are accepted by LifeSG app though the majority of proper SGPay QR codes are accepted. I came to realise that those unacceptable QR codes are those where a QR is printed on a blank piece of paper rather than on a standard template that is common for QR acceptance and pasted on the front of stall. After some experience, I learnt to tell with some accuracy before buying from a stall whether the QR codes can be accepted or not just by looking whether the QR code is a standard one or a sloppy QR code.
Next, do be certain to close the NS Credit payment fully on the LifeSG app after using. There were times where after I made the payment using my NS Credits and then disconnected my phone from internet to save some bucks from data usage. The next time when I logged into LifeSG to use the NS Credits, the app hung and I had to restart the app for use.
