NEW COVID-19 CASES CHART (15 Feb 2020)

Dear readers, yesterday, it was reported that there are 5 new cases of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Singapore. With the above, I have updated the 5-day moving average and 10-day moving average of the confirmed Covid-19 cases in Singapore as shown in the chart above.

The creation of the two moving-average graphs in relation to the new cases of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Singapore is really an endeavour for me to track the development of the Covid-19 cases in Singapore from the daily number of new cases reported. For example, as of 15 Feb 2020, the 5-day moving average is 5.4; thus for the Covid-19 cases in Singapore to start showing some improvements, the number of new Covid-19 cases in Singapore reported as at today later should ideally be less than 5. So that the 5-day moving average can start to trend down (similarly for the 10-day moving average).

Personally, I find that pretty much, the Covid-19 situation in Singapore seems pretty much controlled. Life seems to go on as per usual routine for many people though more are wearing masks and many public venues carry out temperature screening and visitor registrations. These measures are only part of the necessary efforts to do to carry on the battle with Covid-19.
