Dear readers, I started the use of the latest tranche of the CDC vouchers ($300 per household) less than 2 weeks ago and right now, I have mixed feelings.
I have mixed feelings as I have used almost half of the total value of the CDC vouchers ($150) and hence would have hoped that these $300 vouchers could last me slightly longer.
On the other hand, I am glad that I have used quite a bulk of these vouchers as it means that I have saved around $150 on my actual expenditures: monies that I would have to fork out if I have not used the CDC vouchers.
The quick use of the CDC vouchers attests to the usefulness of these vouchers, at least for myself. While I definitely welcome more CDC vouchers, I would think where possible, there can be more lower cost possibilities in areas like transport, electricity and food.
I understand that a recent initiative is the $3.50 meals and while I don’t think I have consciously searched for and eaten these meals, I would welcome these meals if beside the low price tag, the meal is equally filling too.
