A read on MayBank Fixed Deposit promotion webpage (as of this time in writing) indicated the following interest rates for a minimum deposit of $20,000, via placement in Maybank branches:
3.90% interest per annum for a tenure of 12-months.
For longer tenures, enjoy 3.75% (15-month), 3.60% (18-month) and 3.30% (24-month)
3.90% interest per annum is very attractive as it is one of the highest interest rates in town!
