MARCH 2020 SINGAPORE SAVINGS BONDS

Dear readers, the application for March 2020 Singapore Savings Bonds is now open. The annual return for the first three years of holding the March 2020 Bonds is 1.43% and this increases to an average of 1.71% for the maximum 10-years of holding. The March 2020 bonds’ annualized return is lower than the January 2020 and February 2020 Savings Bonds by around 0.1% for the first three years and about 0.05% for the 10-years holding.

Gone are the tranches of Singapore Savings Bonds where the annualized returns for the 10-years holdings is 2.1% (though I have subscribed to these). The current tranche of March 2020 Savings Bonds is not attractive since some fixed deposits have much better interests. But in times of stocks markets volatilities, I think some retail investors would still be drawn to having their monies grow in a relatively safe way.

That’s it for my insights today.  I Thank you once again for your support of SG STOCKS INVESTING, your Money and Lifestyle magazine! Connect with me here to follow the daily exciting and useful posts on these two blogs, Thank You for your support!
