GIC CEO LIM CHOW KIAT ADVOCATES KEEPING SOME CASH NOW

Singapore Stocks

Dear readers, here in SG Stocks Investing, I have been advocating that investors prepare a “war chest” right now in these uncertain macro-economy times so that when there are market opportunities that present themselves to investors, investors will have significant resources to make the very use of what the market opportunities have to offer.

Hence, I was glad that in a recent report, CEO of GIC Lim Chow Kiat mentioned that in these current uncertain times, investors should ensure that they have a range of options, including keep some cash as “dry powder” for more immediate needs. While both SG Stocks Investing and GIC CEO Lim Chow Kiat shared the same narrative of the need to keep cash, SG Stocks Investing used the analogy of “war chest” for future investment opportunities while Mr Lim used the analogy “dry powder” to highlight the importance of keeping liquidity for more immediate needs.

In short, Cash still is still King in these uncertain times.

That’s it for my insights today.  I Thank you once again for your support of SG STOCKS INVESTING, your Money and Lifestyle magazine! Connect with me here to follow the daily exciting and useful posts on these two blogs, Thank You for your support!
