LARGER RESALE FLAT PRICES LIKELY TO APPRECIATE!

Dear readers, there has been a recent interest in HDB flats and related developments ever since Prime Minister Lee’s sharing at this year’s National Day Rally of HDB’s plans for the Standard, Plus and Prime BTO models to replace that of the existing classification of Mature and Non-Mature for new flats.

With the new Plus and Prime flats coming in with more restrictions, some are predicting that the price of existing flats in choicier locations are likely to appreciate much. Some analysts also noted that the government has not rolled out newer bigger HDB flats (e.g. 5-room flats) in choicier locations, e.g. near MRT stations and forecasted that prices of existing larger HDB flats will continue to appreciate into the future.
