The Covid-19 has given the world a New Normal. I would also believe it is a New Normal for Investors.
The Covid-19 has taught investors the valuable lesson that all stocks are basically the same: they are subject to the vagaries of the market forces. Those investors who believe in high dividends stocks, Reits and stocks that seem virtually strong against all odds would be jolted back to reality in this New Normal. Yes, there are also stocks which have benefited from Covid-19 and the new normal and investors who have invested in them would have reaped a handsome profit. But the thing is that there is no telling when these stocks could go back to reality. And it is also really speculative since only a handful of those stock themes related to Covid-19 are the ones to go up.
Against this new normal, there is a Golden Opportunity right now as investors learn the gems of the lessons in investing. This Golden Opportunity now is to Save up as much of your monies right now as a warchest to invest in the stocks markets in the event of a stock markets corrections next.
The stocks markets every day is volatile, up and down. The ups of the US stocks markets may not necessarily translate into the same for the Singapore stocks markets now. There is a bigger theme right down for all stocks markets: that of the decade-in-waiting stock markets correction. Those who could sense the markets corrections coming are already pulling out monies while the average investors, tempted by the gains of the stocks markets may be going into the markets.
Nothing in the world can defy gravity. It will soon be market corrections. And I am sure you would want to be King when that happens by having good liquidity to take advantage of the bottoms of the stocks markets.
