Dear readers, over here at SG Stocks Investing blog, I have been espousing the importance of investing. But more importantly, wise investing. Wise investing since investing really has its fair share of investing risks and it takes wisdom to be successful in investing on a consistent and sustainable basis.
But may I highlight that aside to Investing, Savings is still more important (than Investing)? It is only through Savings that one could amass the capital for investing. And it is also important that investors do not dedicate all their portfolio into equities since a stock market crash will mean the entire portfolio will be wiped out.
And it is exactly in these volatile markets times that investors should have savings ready. Savings in the form of a war chest, ready to invest at the best opportunities when stocks markets head south and cash is king.
