Dear readers, inflation is a buzzword these days.
High costs of living which translate into higher prices that we are paying for goods and services these days. It is good that the government has helped to offset a little bit of the inflation here by giving some financial assistance to Singaporeans.
All of us can save monies in this high inflationary environment. A few dollars here, a few cents there, all will add up over time to something substantial.
I believe many of us have quite a number of items lying around our house. Why not do a “Marie Kondo” to declutter your house and who knows, you may end up saving some monies arising from the process?
For example, some time ago, I have been looking up high and low for a good backpack after the one which I have been wearing become worn out.
Guess what happened during a spring cleaning? I found a same brand bag which was given to me inside my storeroom. The bag is in good condition and without hesitation, I used the bag and saved me about $70 in not buying a similar bag!
That is why decluttering is such a therapeutic process! It provides you with a clean environment that is physically and mentally healthy and who knows, you can save some monies from finding some items decked out somewhere that you might have considered buying otherwises!
