HOW TO ACE GOING BACK TO OFFICE?

Dear readers, welcome to Day 2 of the going back to office (MORE) as employees continue to adapt life to working from office (more) with work from home no longer a default arrangement. How have your experience been?

Well, while it seems natural that people go back to office to work like in days before Covid-19, I think we must not underestimate that some folks may really not be mentally adjusted in going back to work after an almost a year of hiatus, especially if some of them did not step foot in their office all these while. A year of pure telecommuting, remote meetings; a year of not much social interaction, it may not be easy for some to adapt back to the norm of working and socialising physically and coming out from the regime of pure telecommuting.

This is where I think having an “exit and recharge programme” at the end of a day at work physically would help. Simple things like going for a long jog after a long day at work. Even when you start to having this plan of working out and jogging hard in hard, I can assure you that you will find it easier to carry on with your work day. Especially if the changes from remote telecommuting to working physically is not small.

You will feel assured throughout your hectic work day at office knowing you have an avenue at the end of the day just to discharge your emotions!

And when the clock strikes close of business at 6pm, change to your sporting attire, don on your sports shoes and go for that well-deserved jog, swim or workout! And let it All out! You deserve it!

I know the above works as I have practised this!
