Dear readers, the Singapore weather these days has been uncomfortably hot!
With Mercury rising, I believe similar trend applies for our expenditures too!
Well, how is it so?
With hotter weather, I believe many of us will have a higher tendency to buy ice drinks to cool our bodies when we are out. Even if you are one of those who bring a water bottle out, chance of the water in the bottles running out is higher than before (and hence more likely to buy drinks outside).
And when at home, higher temperatures will lead many of us to switch on our fans and aircons for a longer time. And if that is not all, we are likely to have the fans and aircons on, for a longer time than usual. Not to mention, some of us may also have increased number of baths and wash-ups to deal with the hot weather!
Last but not least, such hot weather is likely to make some of us unwell. And when one is unwell and go to see a doctor, the medical expenditure will just add up to the increased expenditure on us, arising from the hot weather!
I am going to drink up more now. Yes, boiling more water to make more drinking water at home, that contributes to increase of our spendings too!
