Dear readers, on my 2 Apr 2023 post, I shared the following fixed deposit promotions from Hong Leong Finance:
5-month holding period
Deposit of $20,000 to <$50,000: 3.30% per annum
Deposit of $50,000 to <$500,000: 3.50% per annum
Deposit <=$500,000: 3.55% per annum
10-month holding period
Deposit of $20,000 to <$50,000: 3.40% per annum
Deposit of $50,000 to <$500,000: 3.60% per annum
Deposit <=$500,000: 3.65% per annum
There have been updates to the above fixed deposit rates as at 12 Apr 23, the latest fixed deposit rates from Hong Leong Finance as per Hong Leong Finance webpage are as follows:
5-month holding period
Deposit of $20,000 to <$50,000: 3.25% per annum (down from 3.30% per annum)
Deposit of >$50,000: 3.45% per annum (down from 3.50% to 3.55% per annum)
10-month holding period
Deposit of $20,000 to <$50,000: 3.30% per annum (down from 3.40% per annum)
Deposit of >$50,000: 3.50% per annum (down from 3.60% to 3.65% per annum)
As we can note from above, there has been a decline in the fixed deposit promotion rates and I would think this is the trend for the other fixed deposit promotions going forward.
