Dear readers, the October 2023 Singapore Savings Bonds (GX23100T) is now open for application (from 1800 hours on 4 Sep 2023). What is good news about GX23100T SBOct23 Singapore Savings Bonds is the reasonably high average 10-year interest rate of the bond.
Before we dive deep into the aforementioned interest rate, just a recap of my estimated average 10-year yield of the Oct 2023 Singapore Savings Bonds. I have predicted the upward trend of the average interest rate and given my take that the average 10-year yield of the Oct 23 Singapore Savings Bond will be 3.10% per annum.
But I was wrong. The average 10-year interest return of SBOCT23 GX23100T is 3.16% per annum (more details here), with the specific interest rates for Year 1 to Year 10 of the Oct 23 Singapore Savings Bonds as follows:
Year 1 to Year 6: 3.05% per annum each
Year 7: 3.10% per annum
Year 8: 3.36% per annum
Year 9 to Year 10: 3.48% per annum each
The closing date of the application is 26 Sep 2023, 2100 hrs and allotment will be after 1500 hrs on 27 Sep 2023.
Issuance of the Savings Bonds to successful applicants is on 2 Oct 2023.
