GRATEFUL FOR A PLATE OF $2.50 CHICKEN RICE

Dear readers, I had a plate of chicken rice at $2.50 for a meal.  Yes, that’s right, $2.50 in the Singapore society of today where cost of living is high. The chicken rice is not bad and could fill my stomach. I am grateful for the chicken rice.

Before settling down for the chicken rice, I scouted for some other food options those that are in air-conditioned places and which cost naturally higher. By trading off some material comfort, I took solace in the $2.50 chicken rice at a non-air-conditioned place. I took solace by acknowledging that I could have a simple, quick, good meal at low cost.

Moreover, I could save more through cheaper meals outside. I go by the mantra of “Save More, Be Grateful and Invest Better” in this blog of mine here and in my life.

Save More as the economy has showed signs of slowing down. More Savings will give more financial assurance.

Be Grateful as we live our lives each day. Do not take anything and everything for granted in life.

Invest Better. Don’t chase the stocks markets or speculate in it. The best investors will be those who invest when all others have gone away from the stocks markets.

That’s it for my insights today.  I Thank you once again for your support of SG STOCKS INVESTING, your Money and Lifestyle magazine! Connect with me here to follow the daily exciting and useful posts on these two blogs, Thank You for your support!
