Dear readers, a particular shop at my neighbourhood is having a clearance sale.
As part of the clearance sale, the shop is giving away some vouchers for a certain amount of dollars spent.
This initiative might have resulted in the long queues at the shop.
But it is always important to find out the details of the vouchers before clocking in the amounts needed to redeem these free vouchers, this was my gut feelings and what I actually did, as shared below.
To many, the vouchers would naturally mean cash vouchers. But in reality, there are really many types of vouchers like discount vouchers. What I found from checking a second time with the shop’s staff was that the free vouchers would come in different forms: discount vouchers off some minimum spends, discount vouchers redeemable at only certain partner stores, but there are no direct straight-off cash vouchers!
Having established the nature of the vouchers, the vouchers were deemed unattractive to me, and same as this whole clearance sale promotion.
