Dear readers, just three days ago, I shared about only three oversold Straits Times Index (STI) stocks as of 23 Jun 2020. These three oversold STI stocks are Capitaland stock, Jardine C&C stock and SIA stock. But most importantly, in my aforementioned post, I mentioned “There will be more oversold Straits Times Index stocks soon as as the STI head in my prediction to the 2,500 support level first.”
True enough, my prediction of the Singapore stocks markets are once again proven correct! The Singapore Straits Times Index (STI) is now oversold. Same goes with the ETF which tracks the STI: STI ETF (ES3.SI) and the Phillip Sing Income ETF. And yes, with the overselling in the STI, there are now fourteen oversold Straits Times Index (STI) stocks as of 26 Jun 2020. What this mean, if I may translate is that in just a span of 3 trading days, we have an additional eleven oversold STI stocks joining Capitaland stock, Jardine C&C stock and SIA stock as oversold STI stocks.

Once again, oversold stocks does not mean that these stocks will rebound in their stock price soon. In these uncertain times where the trend is evidently bearish, investors may risk catching a falling knife when trying to buy oversold stocks. My regular screening of oversold Straits Times Index (STI) stocks is really to get a feel of the Singapore stocks markets to feel how the STI and its constituent stocks are faring. For example, looking at the above fourteen oversold STI stocks, we know that all the largest SGX biggest banking stocks, namely DBS stock, OCBC stock and UOB stock are all oversold!
