Dear readers, in this post, let me share with you Five Straits Times Index (STI) stocks with the highest dividend yields. These five STI stocks with their dividend yields are as follows.
DBS stock: 5.69%
OCBC stock: 5.16%
Singtel stock: 5.54%
HongKongLand USD stock: 5.91%
Jardine C&C stock: 5.78%
Dividend yields of above 5% and some more from Straits Times Index (STI) stock! This may sound attractive to some investors but if you take a look at the humble stock prices which Singtel, HongKong Land and Jardine C&C stock are trading , you would know that the high dividend yields arise because the dividends are divided by a small trading price.
As for DBS stock, OCBC stock, no doubt they give an attractive dividend yield now, but I just feel that their trading price now are not reflective of the current volatile and lacklustre economical market backdrops, hence there is scope for the two banking stock prices to head south further.
