Dear readers, I am happy to have found and tried the FAMOUS EUNOS BAK CHOR MEE.
Ever since my favourite Bak Chor Mee at Bedok South Blk 58 has closed for good, I have been trying to find another Bak Chor Mee in Singapore that has exactly the same thick and feel of soup, noodles as the Bedok South Blk 58 Bak Chor Mee.I am happy to have found it in Famous Eunos Bak Chor Mee, which is related to the aforementioned Bak Chor Mee stall in Bedok.
I patronised the stall at 7 Eunos Crescent, which is in a food centre just beside the hawker centre. After waiting for about 20 minutes, I ordered the soupy Bak Chor Mee and hope that everything will taste the same as the one from Bedok South Block 58.
I was not left disappointed. For just $4.50, I was handed a large and sufficient bowl of piping hot Bak Chor Mee. Before I could know it, I have finished the whole bowl of Bak Chor Mee!
The taste is superior to the stall from Blk 58, Bedok South and I am so grateful that there still exists a handful of dedicated individuals who have preserved the art and craft of making such wonderful food for the soul! I understand that the history of EUNOS BAK CHOR MEE goes as far back as 100 years ago!
Based on FAMOUS EUNOS BAK CHOR MEE Facebook, beside the Eunos stall, there exists other stalls, e.g. 22 Ang Mo Kio Ave 3 #01-1771 and 106 Hougang Ave 1 , Food Alliance Coffeeshop. I really hope that the business of FAMOUS EUNOS BAK CHOR MEE will continue to expand and bring such wonderful Bak Chor Mee into the hearts and souls of Singaporeans all around the island.
From my understanding, the Eunos stall opens from 6am to 730pm, hence you can get one excellent soupy Bak Chor Mee (the stall also sells dry Bak Chor Mee) most of the time.
