Dear readers, currently OCBC and UOB are offering 2.70% per annum for their fixed deposit promotions.
2.70% per annum is rather modest, however there are other banks which offer higher fixed deposit interest rates, like CIMB bank.
For the month of Oct 2023, for a minimum amount of $10,000 in deposit, enjoy the following fixed deposit promotional rates:
6-month tenure: 3.40% (personal banking) or 3.45% (preferred banking)
9-month tenure: 3.35% (personal banking) or 3.40% (preferred banking)
12-month tenure: 3.15% (personal banking) or 3.20% (preferred banking)
The above interest rates are the same as Sep 23 rates from CIMB bank. CIMB bank has maintained its reasonably decent fixed deposit interest rates again. Do note the terms and conditions of the fixed deposit promotions.
