COVID-19 STAY HOME (DAY 8): HOW YOU COULD SAVE LOTS OF MONIES?

Dear readers, today is Day 8 of Singapore’s Covid-19 Staying Home. How have you been doing so far staying home? Telecommuting from home? Supervising your kids with their Home-Based Learning (HBL)? I hope you have been holding on well.

With a prolonged period of time staying home, some of us may feel that we will be incur more utilities bills from an increased electricity, water and gas (cooking) consumption. While this could be the case, I would think that these costs may be insignificant as compared to the monies we would save from staying home during this circuit breaker period.

Many retail restaurants and food shops are closed in this period. I think this is really a good opportunity for those of us who splurge freely on snacks and nice treats to curb this habit and save some monies in the process. Who knows, when the circuit breaker ends, many would have adapted to the habit of spending on just the food we need and the savings arising from the new habit will be life-long and accrue to a significant savings amount.

That’s it for my insights today.  I Thank you once again for your support of SG STOCKS INVESTING, your Money and Lifestyle magazine! Connect with me here to follow the daily exciting and useful posts on these two blogs, Thank You for your support!
