Dear readers, if you are a regular reader of SG Stocks Investing, you might have read one of my earlier posts in relation to shrinkflation in a popular prata chain that my family and I used to patronize and for where the quality of the murtabak was very good.
Seems not any more when I visited the chain earlier on as shared in my earlier post.
But I thought the poor quality could be an isolated case and hence recently I headed back to the outlet again to try.
I was left disappointed again at the murtabak: the ingredients containing meat and other stuff were far lesser than before. The murtabak seems more like a dough and paying $9 was expensive.
I am not amused or impressed at the restaurant’s use of a robot to serve me. What is the point when the quality of the food is no longer there? I will not patronise this prata chain again unless if there is no choice.
I believe it is a matter of time that the prata chain will see less good a business if the restaurant continues to cut cost by cutting down ingredients while still charging customers higher prices.
