Dear readers, is it possible to buy a Freehold condominium at less than $1 million? You may shake your head and reply that it is not possible given the typical multi-million price tags of these Freehold properties at such prime locations. But well, nothing is impossible as there was a property transaction which defied the common thinking of many.
There was a property transaction in end Jun 2021 where a Mount Sophia Suites, a Freehold Condominium of 560 square foot was sold at $903,000. The sale also translated into a price per square foot of $1,612, which was also the lowest for freehold condominiums.
Mount Sophia Suites was a Freehold condominium consisting 50 units and completed in 2011.
