Dear readers, time flies! We are now into Oct 2021 with just about two and a half months to the close of yet another year. Let us take a look, in this post on the Straits Times Index (STI) stocks that have provided investors with the highest capital gains year-to-date!
The top five performing STI stocks, with their capital gains, year-to-date are:
YangZiJiang stock: 50%
HongKong Land stock: 24.8%
DBS Group stock: 24.3%
UOB stock: 20.8%
OCBC stock: 19.5%
As we could see from the list above, the three local banking stocks make up the bulk of the top year-to-date best performing Straits Times Index (STI) stocks. Hence, if you have invested in any of the three banking stocks at start of this year, congratulations to you!
