Dear readers, I just came back from a trip to my neighbourhood town centre this morning to buy lunch for my family. This post was inspired by what I saw from my morning outing.
You see, along the way to the hawker centre this morning, I saw close to fifty to sixty people queuing in line next to a makeshift large tent.
In pre-Covid times, there must only be one reason why there were so many people queuing and that reason is none other than for some goodie bags from a marketing promotion.
In today’s times, there is only one reason why there are so many people queuing: for vaccination or booster shots or for testing of Covid-19 or for the collection of masks, ART kits, sanitisers.
My instant recognition and comparison of the aforementioned jolted me into realising that we are now currently living in a new normal, that of living with Covid-19.
