Dear readers, these few weeks have been extremely hot and humid during the day.
On days that I am at home during the day and do not switch on the air conditioners (I have the habit to switch on the air-conditioners only during the night while sleeping), I will wait for comparatively lower temperatures during the night.
But even during the nights now, I feel the temperatures are higher than before! And yesterday’s night was one of the hottest I even experienced!
Before, I could time the switching off of air-conditioners for my sleep, to save a few bucks here and there. But I now realise my skin would turn itchy and eczema would flare up once the air-conditioning is off.
I realised that I have switched on air-con for longer period of time these days and it seems that I have already started to pay for the cost of climate change since the changed weather these weeks and in recent years have no doubt been caused by Climate Change!
