Dear readers, recently I bought the flossy BreadTalk buns during the promotional deal of 5 buns for $9.
After purchase, the cashier asked me whether I needed a plastic bag. I was surprised as normally, the cashier at BreadTalk outlets will just proceed to wrap the purchased buns and hence I asked if there was an additional charge for the plastic bag. The cashier replied nonchalantly that it will cost an additional 10 cent for the plastic bag.
I declined the plastic bag as I have one ready and hence I was able to save $0.10 for bring my used plastic bag with me (to carry things I have purchased).
That led me to a thinking, if I use this plastic bag every time for 100 purchases and saves $0.10 for not requiring to buy a plastic bag for $0.10 for each and this bag will hence be effectively worth $10.
