Dear readers, 58 MINCED MEAT NOODLE is the undisputed Best Bak Chor Mee in Singapore! I have been eating Bak Chor Mee and 58 Minced Meat Noodle at Block 58 New Upper Changi Road Hawker Centre is simply and definitely my Number 1!
It is not difficult to locate 58 Minced Meat Noodle stall at the aforementioned Hawker Centre. Walk into the hawker centre on Tuesdays, Thursdays and weekends and you will find a long queue. Look into the direction of the queue, and you will find 58 Minced Meat Noodle stall!
Every time I indulge in 58 Minced Meat Noodle, I feel extremely grateful that there is actually such a wonderful Bak Chor Mee that exists! This is why I don’t mind (and I believe the other customers too) to wait quietly in the queue for such wonderful Bak Chor Mee!
I have eaten some other famous Bak Chor Mee and no doubt the soup taste good, but after a while, I feel thirsty to very thirsty and I suspect it is due to some MSG used. But not 58 Minced Meat Noodle soup. The soup is really superb with generous of minced meat! And you will definitely not go as thirsty.
And not to mention the 58 Minced Meat Noodles itself. For the many other soup-styled Bak Chor Mee (some of which are also famous), I find their noodles bland. But not 58 Minced Meat noodles, the taste of the noodles when you bite into them is simply unique! A sensation that is wonderful and which I could not describe. Some of the other famous Bak Chor Mee stalls in Singapore have good soups too but not for noodles which are bland. It really takes a genius of 58 Minced Meat noodles stall to perfect the soup and the noodles. The aunty at the counter is also attentive and has good customer service.
The price of 58 Minced Meat noodles are as follows: $2.50 (small), $3 (medium) and $4 (big). There are equally wonderful wantons to accompany the $3 and $4 option. I always for sure go for the $4 option!
58 MINCED MEAT NOODLE IS SIMPLY THE BEST BAK CHOR MEE IN SINGAPORE!
