Dear readers, yesterday I shared a rather comprehensive piece on my take for the upcoming Year End 2021 Civil Service bonus for Civil Servants. I gave a prediction of 0.5 to 0.7 year-end bonus for civil servants and just to highlight, this will be, in my opinion, a bonus over and above the 13th month salary for civil servants.
In today’s post, let me dive into the range of my estimate to distil an estimate for 2021 Year End Civil Service Bonus using my quick figures.
If we are to notice, the norm for mid-year and year-end civil service bonus is normally respectively 0.5 month and 1 month. Given that the 2021 mid-year bonus for civil service is 0.3 month (that is 60% of the norm), I am of the view that 2021 Year End bonus will also be 60% of the norm of the 1 month for year end bonus.
Hence, my estimate for 2021 Year End bonus for Civil Service is 0.6 month (and over and above the 13th month salary).
And I believe the private sector may reference the year-end bonus given to civil servants as a gauge on their own bonuses.
